Budget has in-terminal desks at all airports serviced by New Zealand's major airlines. No need to use a shuttle bus, whatever time your flight arrives, they’ll be there to meet you.

Budget Car Rentals - Terms & Conditions

The following is a summary of Budget Terms & Conditions – refer to contract at Budget counter for full terms and conditions. Rates and conditions are subject to change without notice. (Rates mentioned in Term & Conditions include GST)

RATES INCLUDE:

• Rental car hire on an unlimited kilometre basis

• Car delivery to airport or client's accommodation

• Vehicle Insurance - (subject to insurance excess)

IMPORTANT NOTES:
Protection Packages:
To be paid on commencement of hire at rental counter:

Budget Protection Plan:
NZ$16.88 per day reduces excess of NZ$1687 to $168.75. Personal accident insurance and personal effects cover is also included in this package.

Security Bond:
(to be paid on commencement of hire)

ECMR - LVMN
A security bond of NZ$100 is payable.

Airport/Ferry Fee:
A charge of NZ$19.13 will apply to hires commencing at all airport locations & ferry terminals to be paid directly to Budget Rental a Car at commencement of hire.

Rates:
Rental days are calculated on a 24 hour basis.

Rental Minimum:
3 consecutive days any one pick-up.

One-Way Rental:
A one way rental fee does not apply provided the rental extends for a minimum of 3 consecutive days on any given island.

Multi Island Hire:
Minimum 3 consecutive days any one pick-up in each island.  Continuous hire is available if second rental is collected within 24 hours. The 3 day rental minimum for one way rentals still applies.

Inter Island Ferry:
Cars are dropped off at Wellington or Picton with a new vehicle being uplifted at the other port.

Availability:
Passenger Cars: (vehicle groups ECMR - FWAR) are available from all locations.
Four Wheel Drives: (vehicle groups  IFAR, PFAR) are available from Auckland, Wellington, Picton, Christchurch and Queenstown.
People Movers:  LVMN - available from all locations.
