Huka Lodge

Arguably one of New Zealand’s best known lodges, with a history spanning
back to the 1920’s, Huka Lodge is today regularly rated amongst the top
lodges in the world. Set in 7 hectares of park like grounds on the banks of
the Waikato River – fed by the
clear, trout rich waters of Lake Taupo and
located just above the awesome Huka Falls, the lodge offers a discrete,
private retreat. The twenty spacious, light and airy guest suites are set in
amongst mature trees just twenty meters from the river’s edge. Each suite
offers every comfort from mini-bar to walk in wardrobe, outdoor terraces, and
