FIRST CLASS/QUALITY and STANDARD

Franz Josef Glacier Hotel
State Highway 6, Franz Josef

The Franz Josef Glacier Hotel comprises two distinctive wings which are one kilometre apart. The Mueller Wing (Standard) is situated on the outskirts of Franz Josef Village while the Douglas (Quality – First Class) and Graham Wings (Standard) are in the Village itself.
There are 177 rooms in total, all with Sky TV, telephones, tea and coffee making facilities and hairdryers.  Douglas Wing rooms have mini-bars and some have wheelchair access.  Rooms in both the Douglas and Graham Wings have refrigerators plus in-house video. Guest services and facilities include two spa pools, guest laundries,  room service, tourist booking services, three house bars and one public bar, three restaurants - Canavans Restaurant, The Glasshouse and The Fern Room.

STANDARD

Punga Grove Motor Lodge
Cron Street, Franz Josef

The Punga Grove Motor Lodge offers 13 units in total with four Queen bed studio units suitable for 2 people; six 1-bedroom units and three 2-bedroom units. The property is set in close proximity to native bush and birdlife, yet only 150 meters to the Village with it’s shops and restaurant.
Rooms have fully equipped kitchens, electric heating and electric blankets, phones, Sky TV. Room service cooked or continental breakfast is available (at additional charge). The property offers a guest laundry, spa pool and BBQ (additional charges apply).

Note: Two night minimum stay applies between 24 December 2004 and 2 January 2005

BED & BREAKFAST AND BOUTIQUE ACCOMMODATION

Westwood Lodge
State Highway 6, Franz Josef

Westwood Lodge is a boutique Dinner Bed and breakfast style Lodge located just 2 kilometers North of the Village. Set in bush and farmland with views to the mountains, the all-wood style lodge has eight junior suites (6 with mountain views and 2 with courtyards) and a master suite. All suites have king/twin beds, TV, phone, internet connections, iron, tea and coffee making facilities, en-suite with shower or shower and French tub, hair dryers, robes, heated floors and towel rail. The Master Suite has a small lounge and private courtyard with mountain views.
Pre-dinner drinks, a four-course dinner using fresh, local West Coast produce where possible, room and breakfast are included in the rate. Dinner is served at 7.00pm in winter and 8.00pm in summer.

All rates are Per Person and include Dinners and Breakfasts  

• The lodge is not suitable for children under the age of 12 years.

• The Lodge is smoke free throughout.

Deposit and Cancellation Policy:

• A 25% deposit is required to secure a reservation. This deposit is refundable if reservation is cancelled 31 days or more prior to arrival.
