Stafford Villa is a heritage-listed villa located on the Point at Birkenhead, a piece of colonial history where the past and present are delightfully blurred. The villa is close to the water and surrounded by tropical trees and shrubs.
Totally restored in 1999, the villa is luxuriously furnished with oriental and European antiques, guestrooms have king beds, exquisite bed linens and private ensuite facilities. China Blue has a luxurious en suite dressing room with spa bath, and carved mahogany four poster bed. Tuscany Summer, a large bay window overlooking the remaining Victorian orchard, Papillon formally the original front parlour has a magnificent heritage ceiling of local kauri. China Blue and Papillon have French doors that access the return verandah.
